Please educate me on how Joomla 3.4.1 Group Permission work on Offline Access. In my understanding when Joomla is set to Offline mode no Groups are allowed to login nor see any of the content except Super Users, right? At least by default it is. Specially Public should and will not be able to see anything on Offline mode.
Here's what is puzzling me, I just setup a clean J3.4.1. Refresh the frontend and I get the the offline message with a login form. Now I edited the home menu item and set the Access Level to Registered. Then I go to System > Global Configuration > Permissions and changed the Offline Access for Registered group to Allowed. Went back to refresh the front end and I'm seeing everything. Site is still set to Offline.
Is this a bug?
All I want to do is to allow Registered Group to be able to login even the site is Offline.
