Running Joomla 3.3.6. The smart search function breaks down when people search for anything with an apostrophe in the search term.
Search generates a 1064 error:
Error: 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 's place";s:7:"__atuvc";s:14:"3|40,0|41,1|42";s:32:"f8dde6fe449a4253de27fbc93ef0b' at line 3 SQL=INSERT INTO fwg5i_jotcache (fname,title,uri,browser,language,agent,com,`view`,id,ftime,mark,qs,checked_out,cookies) VALUES ('4308341584db3066814493a00a1cdec6','smart search - Reading Terminal Market','/smart-search?q=amy%27s+place','','en-GB','0','com_finder','search','0','2015-02-04 13:14:32','','a:9:{s:1:"q";s:11:"amy's place";s:7:"__atuvc";s:14:"3|40,0|41,1|42";s:32:"f8dde6fe449a4253de27fbc93ef0be7a";s:32:"dc056054253bfce853f925975d9742ce";s:3:"_ga";s:26:"GA1.2.764794648.1406134810";s:4:"_gat";s:1:"1";s:6:"Itemid";s:3:"244";s:6:"option";s:10:"com_finder";s:4:"view";s:6:"search";s:1:"f";s:1:"1";}','','')
In an attempt to fix this, I ran the indexer in the Smart Search component. Indexer runs about 60% and then generates this:
An Error Has Occurred
Expected response code 200, got 403
Forbidden
Error 403
Thanks.
