So this started today (maybe yesterday) out of nowhere. I have contacted my server administrator to see if he had changed anything recently that could cause this issue, but I have no heard a reply yet. I did not change anything, or update anything since this issue has come about.
Basically, what is happening is when I go to the Joomla administrator log in page, it redirects to my homepage, after I attempt to log in.
It was working fine on Monday, now today I have that, and a few other issues (a chat plugin that was working on Monday now mysteriously loads the entire webpage into the module in an iFrame, rather than loading the chat plugin itself.)
I've looked over my .htaccess, read plenty of articles, checked all the configurations I can think of -- but still, no matter what I do, upon logging into the Joomla back end it just redirects me to the homepage.
The ONLY thing I have changed in about the last month (besides installing some updates a few weeks ago) was I removed SSL from the site about a week ago. But as mentioned, the site continued to work fine -- everything functioned, including the mentioned chat plugin, and I was still able to access to Joomla back end. This all started today -- and the entire site itself works, just not the back end or the mentioned chat plugin.
Anyone have any ideas? This could very well be something that my server admin updated or changed and didn't advise me about yet -- but I figured I should check elsewhere ahead of time in case that isn't the case.
