This is not possible. In the position 0 there is yet 2 modules. One for the virtuemart search field and one for the tex line about cart. The modules are positionning vertically. If you add another module for the image it will display but upon the two others.
It think that the only way is to insert a line of code to insert the logo on right or left of the cart line text.
