General Questions/New to Joomla! 3.x • SEF URL and image path

Hi,



I am having some issue with latest joomla 3.3.6 version with default SEF set to ON.



The images are set to have path as images/xxxx.jpg



but when we set any sub menu say aboutus and then have any sub links in about us, then the URL goes get correct as



http://ift.tt/1ykwOCl



and then the images path gets replaced as



<documentroot>/aboutus/images/xxxx.jpg



and since this images are not in physical directory they do not show.



To see if this problem is exactly as explained above, I created the folder aboutus and have copied all images in to it. And surprisingly it worked.



But the problem is we can not create all such sub menu folders manually and keep copying the images folder in it. As well as every time we upload new image in images folder keep copying them in all such folders.



Please explain what I am missing. Why it is not having same path of images folder?
