OK, that is sort of reassuring. But the CB people say they are not able to reproduce the errors, and blame it squarely on some unknown flaw in the 2.5.24 - > 3.3.3 upgrader.
It seems obvious that with some 45 pages of threads in this system, that the current "one click upgrade" (even with the additional steps of meticulously following the various posted 'preps and prerequisites') is just not working "in the real world".
Is there any possibility that 2.5.x support will be EXTENDED for a year or two, until an actual flawless migration tool can be developed?? Or at least a flawless "3.x PREP TOOL"?? (something that can walk through all the stuff on your perfectly functional 2.5.x system, and show exactly what needs to be done to make it "3.x-ready"?)
