General Questions/New to Joomla! 3.x • Removing white space on homepage

I'm working on our company website and am fairly new to Joomla! There is a large amount of unnecessary white space below our logo, above the content on the page. I have no idea how to remove it to make the front page look more uniform. I have provided a picture for reference. Any help would be appreciated.
