General Questions/New to Joomla! 3.x • Pictureupload frontend not possible

If I try to edit an article or if i try to make a new one via frontend, it is not possible to insert a new picture via the pictureuploader. If i select a picture from my computer an clicl oon "upload" the editor pretends to do something, the screen renews but then nothing happens. Tried different browsers and editors. Joomlaversion 3.3.3 all components up to date. Image-Folder Permission is 777. Need help!
