Last month I successfully activated the two-step verification on my Joomla 3.3 site. To log in I use the Google Authenticator app on my Android smartphone.
Today I did a complete wipe of my smartphone to install the new Android 4.4.3 factory image, forgetting to disable the two-step verification on my Joomla site. Unfortunately, I don't have the recovery codes.
I have FTP and phpmyadmin panel access fow my Joomla site, can I disable the two-step verification in any way?
Unfortunately I can not restore the site from the hosting control panel. It allows me to get to 19 May with the restore, but I've enabled two-step verification in early May. I did not even have a local backup of the site with the two-step verification disabled.
