Extensions for Joomla! 3.x • Where does Joomla store Articles and K2 Articles

I have the files from an old site stored locally. I would like to retrieve a few old blog posts. What is the heirarchy to find the right files for K2 articles that I had created. I essentially want to rework some of them and created new blog posts for our Joomla 3 site. (Rebuilt it because I created an issue trying to come from 1.7).
