By using CCK such as form2content, you can customize the input form and output for articles the way you want it. And the form will create articles with your custom layout..
I find it is the best way to do it... Without using CCK, you still can built a review site with Joomla articles.. But the layout of the review form and the articles may be not the way you want it to be.
