Extensions for Joomla! 3.x • Help installing JComments

I followed the install instructions, got no errors, choose a category for public documents, made sure my test user has permissions, and I can access the component in the component menu and the component is enabled in the extension manager. Everything looks nice on the server side, but no change appears on the website.
