Hello Walt78. Have you made a dicision concerning hosting? As for the 1&1 registrar I belive they are good enough, my collegue used them once. As for the hosting I would advice to use any popular one. A little trick - when you decide which one to use make the following search on google: coupun code + hosting brand name
