Recently Googlebot found very strange URL in my site:
it is similar to "http://ift.tt/1CV3u6u;
The weird thing is that I do not have 'menu1' as alias, this alias was renamed to 'somethingelse1'.
'sub-menu1' alias was also renamed.
(Menu items was not renamed, only aliases!)
Article with 'article-name' is still in published state, but has nothing common with above mentioned menu items.
Yes, when the article was created, there were menu1 and sub-menu1, but this was 2 months ago. Google found this URL recently, and as I said - URL is still valid.
URL is not giving 404, it opens a page related to old sub_menu1.
URL is NOT opening article 'article-name'.
If only Googlebot complains about that, I would say that this is remnant of old Googlebot index, but this URL is valid. So Google will try to index it. And I am not happy about that.
As you can imagine - SEO is on in Joomla, version is latest - 3.4.1.
