This may be a strange one, but I will try and explain as well as possible.
I have a supporters club website (Site A), where users will be logging in and registering with a component called Membership Pro - http://ift.tt/1yjSnDM ... ption.html.
On the same server, I have a sub domain which is a Virtuemart Store (Site B). This store is for members, however, I did not want to exclude the public non-members from purchasing from the store, however, I want the members form the 1st site to receive a type of discount or benefit from Site A when they register and purchase on Site B.
Membership Pro has a few fields within the registration process, one being a transaction ID, and a few other ID's. I would like to take one of these ID's or fields from Site A, and generate them into Site B, which is the Virtuemart Store, into a coupon code. HOwever, I would LOVE this to be as automatic as possible.
Has this been done before? Using one MySql db table and importing it into another MySql table on another DB on the same server.
I have little to no coding experience, but can scratch my way through.
