I looked at a few plugins but everything was either not up to it or overkill and needed a lot of trimming of formatting to get it looking correct.
It also needs frontend member add/edit events with uploaded images restricted to logged in member. I can do all of that with just JCE and some Joomla settings. It's just this last little bit that is a bit annoying.
But thanks for the suggestion. I understand you can override helper functions but can only find a tutorial on 2.5.
