General Questions/New to Joomla! 3.x • Hos to keep an item on top of the category?

Until 3.x we could give an article a value of -1 in the order column, so this article would allways be on top. But now the orde colums has gone. The drag and drop is nice, but how can we keep an item on top of the list?
