General Questions/New to Joomla! 3.x • Re: Problem with embedded Javascript in 3.3.x articles

Did someone add a certain link to a .js file in the index.php for the template in the older version that may have been overwritten when you upgraded? Something like...



<script src="/media/system/js/blahblah.js" type="<text/javascript"></script>



Some jQuery functions require additional .js files to work properly. This requires a link to them in your HTML for the web pages. There are extensions that allow you to add this, but someone may have added it by hand to the index.php.



Also, you say that the <script...> is being saved when you save the article. Are you sure? Did you toggle the text editor to see the HTML code - are the <script> lines still there after reopening the article or are they being stripped out?
