General Questions/New to Joomla! 3.x • Re: Error 1064

I went through all extensions and plug ins and found that most were joomla projects and then moved on to templates, I had beez20 as a default and believe this is compatible with J3+.



However, the issue occured when i came to update. I didn't have the quick update icon located on components so i started to google the issue and came across a page detailing a plug in called Akeeba Joomla CMS update .. 2.5 to 3, atleast something along those lines. After giving it the all clear to start installing I got the error;

1064 - An error has occurred.

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'FROM WHERE = 'cparams'' at line 2 SQL=SELECT FROM WHERE = 'cparams'



Return to Control Panel

Thought it wont let me return to the control panel and I've got no way of accessing the website.



I can only hope that my host '1&1' might have a backup?
