Just had the worst experience ever with a J.E.D. developer. My review probably won't get published so I'll post here instead.
I purchased TechGasp's Instagram PhotoMaster module a while back, it doesn't work with SSL, pulls photos using http:// I've come across this issue a few times so know just to go into the code and switch any URLs to https:// and usually everything works. No luck. Their support? Hah. Rudest, most unhelpful developers in existence.
Regardless, only $25 down the drain. Few months later, I'm looking for an Instagram module for JomSocial, uh oh... TechGasp again... I'll give it a try, it's been a couple months, maybe they've come to their senses. NOPE! I try purchasing on their piece of crap website, I already have an account as I've already made a purchase from them. Log in, go to check out, logged out, try again, loops, finally works... NOPE! Purchased the same "Instagram PhotoMaster" module again, not "Instagram PhotoMaster for Jomsocial" Oh well, honest mistake, I've sold extensions myself and have had similar situations, so I email the developer, ask them to kindly switch the subscription to the correct one. NOPE! Won't do that, tell me I'm S.O.L and close the ticket.
I open a few more tickets about this issue, they just close each time, I email them, no response. Finally today I try opening yet another ticket and hear back and they just say they won't do nothing and that I'm a scammer... a scammer that's given them $50!!! Two payments of $25 for the exact same extension. Yeah, what a great scam I'm running... They're the scammers.
TechGasp.com are straight up thieves.
