I have looked thru a lot of topics to see if anyone had a problem like this. Didn't find one.
So, in my control panel inside my backend login to the right is "last 5 logged-in users" I click on "Administrator" and it takes me directly to the "User Manager: Edit Profile" - there is where the problem is - the login name: is not my login name - and i am not able to change it here on this screen along with a hidden password. it is a user name that i had attempted to setup as a new user 2 days ago.
Now when I go to the “Users Manager: Users” I see that my correct user name is listed there only. No other user is listed. But when I click on Administrator under the name column it takes me of course to the User Manager: Edit Profile again. And I see the incorrect login name and hidden password that I am not allowed to change or delete. I feel that I have some permissions/access issue. It also screws up my logging in. I have to use the password that was assigned to the new user along with my login name… weird… So if any one can point me in the right direction of how to resolve this I would very much appreciate it.
