I have a category structure that looks something like this:
Category 1
Category 1.1
Category 1.1.1
Category 1.1.2
Category 1.1.3
Category 1.2
Category 1.2.1
Category 1.2.2
Category 1.2.3
I have created a menu item for category 1 that lists all the articles in all the sub categories and it lists them with the latest article first.
The problem is that it starts with the articles in category 1.1.1 and then it lists all of them in date order. When it has listed all of those articles it then lists all the articles from category 1.1.2 in date order. So right after the oldest article in category 1.1.1 comes the newest article in category 1.1.2. So all the articles are in date order on a category basis, it doesn't actually take all the articles and lists all of them in date order.
Is it possible to make Joomla list all the articles from all the categories in date order and not consider what category each article is in?
I have Joomla 2.5.27.
