General Questions/New to Joomla! 3.x • Shared links don't redirect properly, Untrusted Connections

Hello,

Please, with all the shared links from our site to social media (Facebook, Twitter, Google) through third-party extensions, end users or visitors are usually redirected to UNTRUSTED or UNSECURED CONNECTIONS in their browsers (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox etc.) when they click on the links to read the articles which automatically [[drive]] them away.



We had early on enabled SSL for only the Administrator backend and not the entire site but upon the advise of the third party extension's owners, we enabled it for the entire site and cleared all the cache but that hasn't resolved the problem either.



We only share links from the frontend with either www. or http:www and not from the super admin's login with HTTPS.



Please, could this be as a result of server side settings mistake or a bug in Joomla 3.3.3 and what could be the possible solutions?



The site is offline whilst we are trying to find solutions.
