Great product - I have migrated 3 sites (big ones with hundreds of articles and users...)
in a fraction of the time I would have needed for other migration tools (or doing it manually...)
The only oddity I have noticed is:
When I migrate the user base, all the registered users come through OK with no issues.
When I migrate editors, publishers, admins, supers, etc -- the passwords are corrupt -
which is problematic if you are a super that is trying to login -- you cannot and you cannot do an super user reset via e-mail.
Looking into the database (and here is the odd thing...) at the users table, the password hashes look completely different between OLD site and NEW Migrated site -- even on accounts that have fully functioning accounts.
Is there a different kind of method for storing or processing the password HASH in Joomla 3.3
Because the password hash looks different between DB's -- even with users that are working properly, I cannot tell quite what the issue is -
I also am working with the developed of the SP product (which I still recommend) to isolate this oddity.
Anyone doing migrations where everything works but the password?
Many, many thanks!
