Installation Joomla! 2.5 • J2.5 Install: RSS 3.3 has gone off the rails

I uploaded a Joomla 2.5 site to server which was working fine on a local host.



The first problem was missing CSS on display, but that problem has been resolved by a small change to the config file.



My second problem is that the module type "RSS 3.3 Browser" that was feeding News Bits has stopped functioning. I rebuilt the module, but the same problem persist. Here is a sample of the first 10 of the 50+ errors it is giving me in the module display are:
