General Questions/New to Joomla! 2.5 • Show a menu on my blog page with subcategory and numbers

hello,



I want to organize my articles on my blog so I categorized them. Now I would like to add a menu on the right side of my blog page with all the sub categories and the number of articles in each.

Could you explain me how to do that or if there is an extension for this?
