Migrating and Upgrading to Joomla! 3.x • Re: upgrade new site from 2.5 to 3.x error

Well, my host only has 2.5 version to install. I can do an upgrade then to 2.5.17 but then not to 3.x. If I knew how to install a 3.x version from the beginning, I would! I'm open for suggestions! I'm not a super techie person, keeping it simple works best for me.
