Yes, that makes sense.
My client had a paper form that I used for a template to create a PDF template that I laid out in a table format in Dreamweaver (or whatever). Each item in the form has a placeholder tag {name} {email} etc. These are placed in the table which then populate the content from the user input and the PDF plugin generates a PDF that is almost identical to the form the client gave me to replicate.
Like I said it takes a bit of tweaking and the PDF setting took me time to right (A4 or something).
So the form is sent in email format and the PDF is attached. I suppose you could bypass the email version but they are both fully customizable. It's really pretty slick.
