I have a main menu in a protostar template that displays options vertically instead of horizontally. Somehow the display properties do not change (onclick? focus?) when the items are clicked though navigation is working okay.
Version: Joomla 3.1.5
Template: Protostar
Module: Menu
Position: Navigation (position 1)
How do I get the menu items to display horizontally and change property when clicked? (For the property changing thingy, see either http://jsfiddle.net/biped/T9h5h/ for a simple example).
The uploaded image shows how it looks now with the undesired vertical orientation:

Here is the type of module (Menu) and placement in the protostar template:
MenuModuleDef.jpg
The "Menu Header Class" field in the module definition (advanced) is blank. Is that the problem? If so, Any suggestions as to what the class should be?

Thank you in advance.
