I'm attempting to put a second very similar site on a subdomain, but with a unique site name, meta tags, seo, etc. Here's the process to date:
Near completion of primary site.
Copied and installed on a subdomain via akeeba with a new database.
Began making changes to the subdomain's install.
Changes to the subdomain (e.g. new module, menu changes, etc.) are also changing my primary domain, albeit without access to the new image files.
I don't understand why this is happening, and all of my attempts to resolve or find resolutions have failed. Maybe I've approached this from completely the wrong direction, as this is my first Joomla site, and I'm open to suggestions on how to achieve this differently.
