General Questions/New to Joomla! 3.x • Is Joomla Good for an Online Ecommerce Store?

I am thinking about using Joomla for a basic ecommerce store. Has anyone tried using Joomla for a store? What plugins and templates did you have success with or used in the creation of your store?
