General Questions/New to Joomla! 2.5 • Filter by Category problem on Gallery View

Hi all.

I am working/ finishing up a webpage project for my medical supplies company boss. Here is my problem:



We have a restricted section displaying our products. It is laid out in Gallery view.



The main menu reads "Our Products & Services" when moused-over it drops down with a list of our various categories about 8 in total. If you just click on the main "Our Products & Services", it takes you to a gallery view of all our products.

At the top of the view is a box saying "Filter By Category". It gives the option of Show all then our other categories.....



....howeer, it it only showing 3 of my categories! I have looked at the source code and cant figure it out. Looked at modules and plug-ins cant find the extension. Have checked the categories it is showing and not showing to see if there is any difference I am missing and there is not.



I cannot give the URL due to confidentiality agreements within my contract however here is a section of the source:

Now I have actually come into this project after the original "career" webmaster basically ran away. I am fixing two websites he started and flaked out on and have found that he likes to approach website building in a messy round-a-bout way that doesn't much allow for ease of editing in future. I'm sure I could fiddle with the code and eventually get it to show these categories but there has to be something in my Joomla back office that allows me to control this Filter by Category box via the UI.



Any help would be appreciated. This project is due to be finished tomorrow and this is my last issue I cannot resolve.
