Cholent's suggestion would definitely work, and PayPal provides some features that would be helpful, like shipping configuration and mediocre reporting, but if you are looking to sell online, especially if it is your primary means for selling (meaning you don't have a brick and mortar gallery), paying for a shopping cart that has features like inventory management is not unreasonable.
Our preference is HikaShop, which offers several levels of features and prices that match. It does offer downloadable products, but you do not have to enable that feature.
