Yes, what Cholent MT says. Although making a new category is probably not neccessary in this case.
If you add a new article Joomla doesn't know where to show this. By linking it to a menu item you can visit the article.
Or if your website has, for example, a 'News' menu item that displays a category (blog/list) any -published- articles that are added to this category will be shown.
