General Questions/New to Joomla! 3.x • Mobile and Main sites

I'm just throwing this out there in hope that someone could show me the way.



Is there a way to 2 templates running in an installation so that 1 template is for a mobile site and the other one is for the main site.



Or maybe 2 joomla installations using the same database but using 2 different templates.

The mobile site would be in a sub-domain



Is this possible?



Or is this wishful thinking?
