General Questions/New to Joomla! 2.5 • adding .mov video using Allvideos on joomla 2.5.6

Hello,

I left a post on the Allvideos forum; however, I just noticed the last post was 3 years ago LOL I doubt I'll be getting a response to my post LOL



So, I figured I would come back to Joomla forum. I always get responses here!



I've uploaded and activated the Allvideos plugin. I just don't know what to do after that? I've been reading that it's used for YouTube videos and you simply put a {youtube}video id here{/youtube} around your video.



However, I want to put a .mov video in an article page. So how would I do that?

Where do I upload the video to on my server? the root? or a special folder? or within the stories folder?

And what code do I put around the name of the video? {mov} and then {/mov}



I found this viewtopic.php?f=473&t=439029 where someone else asked about .mov, but the response began describing everything but .mov. So I'm thinking, MAYBE they were saying you can do the same procedure with a .mov?



I'll try. Just not sure WHERE I put the actual video.
